File NOW, and then become a US citizen. He'll be able to come in around 5 years from the date you file. I'm assuming you're his mother and an LPR (green card)

Also assuming that your son remains unmarried.

The priorities are:

F1 for Unmarried Children over 21 of US Citizens.

F2B for Unmarried Children over age 21 of LPR.

F3 for Married Children of US Citizens.

Cases being worked now for China were filed:

F1 Mar 2002

F2B June 1999

F3 June 2000

Looks like at present F1 is about 6 years, F3 8 years, and F2B 9 years.

is it different from conditional green card and lawful green card ?

NO, an LPR is an LPR, conditional or not.

The conditions only have to do with bona fide marriage, you need to prove the marriage was a bona fide one at 2 years of conditional status, to remove the conditional status.
