myeagy
Hi all, Just thought I'd share some info with you. Yan and I had our AOS interview on July 10, 2003. It was very short 5-10 minutes total. After the interview we were told it would take several monthes to get the actual green card. Then, last week Yan received a 'Welcome' letter stating she would receive her green card in the next three weeks. On Sat. (7/26/2003) she received the card in the mail. She also received a second 'Welcome' letter on the 26th. On Monday (7/28/2003) she received a third 'Welcome' letter. I gues the BCIS really wants to make sure she feels welcome. 3 'Welcome' letters in less than a week...think she'll get anymore? Good luck to everyone in the process. Link to comment

Mick
Congratulations on achieving this important milestone! I wish you much happiness in the days and years ahead. Also glad to see you had a fairly speedy AOS interview. BCIS Atlanta informed us that we could expect an interview "within 36 months". Link to comment
Eric&Yuhui
BCIS Atlanta informed us that we could expect an interview "within 36 months". They meant "lunar months " , so it isn't that bad We really will never be able to predict those folks, or how the timeline between filings and receipts develops. Link to comment
