You can blame the guy who spearheaded it or maybe even the people gullible enough to risk buying into it but what really stinks is the government involvement in this scam.

Interesting story. China really is the wild west of business. Caveat Emptor! I think I likely would be suspicious of investing in ants as the next Viagra. This guy played on people's greed to perpetuate his fraud. But I hope China takes a hard line against frauds like this one. All those people losing their life savings is a real tragedy. I would not like to be old and poor in China.

Any one remember Spanish Fly myth? It was suppose to make the user go Ape for Rape. It ws found to be the opposite and you could have also lost your life.
