Immigrant visa, e-mail address

After the CR-1 visa interview, we had submitted all the papers, 3 months ago. In the blue slip they asked us to write them an e-mail if we do not hear anything from them. As we did not hear anything in 3 months, we try to send them an e-mail, at the following address they provided.

It does not go through. It says that it is not a correct e-mail format. I tried about 5 times. No Luck.

 

I called USembassy "Paid phone service" (something like $7.00 for 10 minutes). They would not give me any information about the case. They asked me to write an e-mail to the same address. They did not want to hear if it is working or not.

 

Does any one of you have any experience with this e-mail address? Or do you know another address that would work?
