We received our AP and EAD the other day but our AOS is still at the National Center and hasnt been touched since 12/20/07 and that was after her biometrics schedule. Is this normal? I see others have transfered to California right away or have been touched at least. Ours is a simple case, no prior marriage,no kids, etc etc.

Are we in for the long haul or has this happend to others before?

thanks in advance.

Cheers.

There are plenty of pumpers here who will gladly tell you you can expect your green card within 3 to 6 months as long as "Ours is a simple case, no prior marriage,no kids, etc etc."

You might want to also check out timelines such as ours.

Also check out this thread, which gives hope that it might not be a whole lot longer than 6 months. We have yet to see any effects from this memo, however.

Also check out this thread, which gives up that it might not be a whole lot longer than 6 months. We have yet to see any effects from this memo, however.

It wasn't long after we got our EAD and AP approved that we received our interview appt. We never received any notice of transfer however. I would think that it's likely that you will get yoiur interview date shortly.

Good Luck!
