Rakkasan
Well today Zhen received her temporary permits for work and travel. We still have no word on an interview date for her two year green card, but at least she will be able to travel home to help her mother care for two of her sisters who are pregnant and both due in January / February. We filed for the AOS around mid-September. Does anyone know approximately how long it takes before we get notification of an interview date? Link to comment
yuan fen
We filed 1st of September, and no interview letter yet here in Texas. Temporary work and travel docs came in week of Thanksgiving from MSC. Jie will travel to Shanghai early Jan to late Feb, it would be nice to know a date to see if we can work her trip around an interview. If an interview pops up while she is gone then we will ask if it can be rescheduled. I sorta hope it will be after her trip. It will be a close call if the 6 months time to process still holds true. david_dawei
depends on the local office.. not sure which one "somewhere, IN" is.... Link to comment
dnoblett
depends on the local office.. not sure which one "somewhere, IN" is....Perhaps IN = Indiana. Depends on 2 things, if NBC sent case to California or to your local field office, if California Service Center, then it is anyone's guess, they may issue card with out interview after a name-check of variable length, or CSC can also decide an interview is needed and send case to your local field office. For local field office processing times look up your local field office on USCIS site an and see what I-485 cases they are looking at now. https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp Link to comment
