Hi,

How long from the date you mail the ck to Dept of HS, does it take to cash the ck?

And how long from the date that you mail the forms to Dept of HS does it take to get the Work Authorization card?

 

My wife started to apply for job as flight attendant, where they will train her for 2 months free, so she is excited about this. My wife asks me how long will it take to get authorization card, and my guess is 3 months from this week when we mailed money and forms.

 

Does the biometrics come after the work authorization cards?

 

Any help here would be greatly appreciated,

Yes - it's usually closer to 2 months for the EAD, but they tell you to wait 90 days before making an InfoPass appt.

 

Biometrics comes about 3 or 4 weeks before the EAD card. The picture on the card and the fingerprints come from this appt.
