"No reason" denial?

Recommended Posts

In my opinion it (90 day blue) is caused by a name change some time in the past (does not matter if you already stated this in your documents and regardless of name checks), or/and TPC.

GUZ is verifying these 2 extra things and you will pink out when they have satisfied their endevor.

No name change here for either of us... but 5 1/2 months later with perfect blue slip nothing.... old lady visa interviewer was just having a bad day.....she even ask my finance the name of my mother (she has been dead 26 years) !!!!!!!

jwhaustin, very interesting comment there buddy..."old lady interviewer having a bad day". That makes four of us, that I know of, that have had our girlfriends/wives run into this same VO with an attitude. She yells at the women, throws their paperwork around...and at them. and tries her best to intimidate them.

There are well established members here who had much worse potential red flags than most of us yet their woman breezed through her interview. While I'll agree with David's statement that it is a check.. of some sort.... that GUZ is doing, the fact is, any VO could arbitrarily pick anyone for a so called "check" at any time. What the hell, it's only 5 or 6 months the woman and her man will have to wait, and we don't have to give them a reason for the wait and what we're "checking".

I've been run all over the spectrum by the DOS "specialists"...been told, they're looking at her, their looking at you, the case looks very good, etc. etc....but one thing has been the same from all the "specialists", "the name and security checks were done a long time ago".

I had a very interesting call from a Congressman's immigration liason today. This Congressman is not from my home state and I appealed to him as a friend (I had met him when I owned a carpet cleaning company in the DC area). Turns out he remembered me and told his staff to help me any way they could. His liason is very sharp (asked me many pointed questions and was very candid), knew all the terminology and how to work their way with DOS specialists, very understands dealing with GUZ (detailed their feelings to me about having two Congressmen, at the same time, sending letters to GUZ, since my homestate Congressman has already sent his letter), has even visited CFL in the past, and was very eager to help us.

Well, the call was made to DOS today by the laison and then I was called back. Seeing as how we're in this glass bubble here I can only wait to discuss what I was told, as there will be more inquires very soon. I can only think, and hope, that I have now found a very diligent and motivated person, who with their boss knowing me personally, is going to help us thru this quagmire.

Good luck to you jwhausten, and to anyone lurking out there stuck in the speculation and conjecture of those two dreaded words "Administrative Processing".

How are you some of you people voicing your opinions when you have no clue...GUZ can do what ever they want......myself and my finance have never had a name change.... nothing was checked off as missing or wrong on blue slip.... 5 1/2 months later nothing....she also had a old Visa lady that had a bad cold that day and something went wrong.... but not name change!

I stand by my statement and speak from exact direct experience, therefore I do have a clue, as do others here too. If you do not want to listen and learn, then that it is your choice. We are only trying to help you understand, but you have blinders on to the help being offered. Zai jian :)

First of all, much of what is said here is someone's opinion. Most of the time it's their opinion offered in hopes that it can help a fellow member. You're free to consider it or not, it's your choice. As it's their choice whether to offer it or not.

Secondly, the people offering these opinions usually DO have a clue. Their not first-time posters new to the process just throwing out wild-ass answers. Some have been through the exact scenario the OP presented. Others have second-hand knowledge of similar cases gleanded from this site. All of it is offered in hopes that it can help someone else, not just as wild speculation. Again, if you don't like their opinions or answers, ignore them.

I'm very sorry for your situation and can only imagine how bitter you must be. But taking out that bitterness on people here won't help you much.

Best of luck.

Hi,

My wife and I are in the same situation as the OP: stuck in blue-slip administrative processing purgatory for almost 4 months.

Thanks to the wonderful people in this BBS I feel that I am not facing the bureaucracy alone in a Kafkaesque nightmare.

Thank you CFL.

Welcome to CFL XiongMao XianSheng.

Pull up a log and join us around the campfire. :D

This is a great place to learn/teach/vent. There are a lot of folks here who've been where you're at or are there now. Hopefully something someone here says or does can help speed up your process.

Good luck.
