Katrina
My sister is in China and married to a Chinese gentleman. They have been married a year and a half. My broke her ankle and can't work for three months. My father wants her to come home to heal. But she won't be able to get through the airport with her bags and not being able to walk. Is there some kind of temporary visa her husband can get to bring her back home? Link to comment
tywy_99
I never heard of one. I don't think it is possible to do what you suggest. Link to comment
SinoTexas
Check with the airlines. Dealing with passengers that have medical or physical limitations are nothing new to them. They do it all the time. She should have no problem returning solo. As aye, Jim Link to comment
xiaoheather
He can try for a tourist visa. My husband was able to get one, even after we submitted his immigrant visa petition. (Note: Have him use your sisters financial/salary information as proof as well.) However, it takes a few weeks to get the interview. I don't think this would be considered an emergency in the eyes of the consulate. Link to comment
