lostinblue
I have not read much on bringing a son or daughter here just for a summer vacation. Father in china has custody and would allow a visit if possible. Son is 14.....now. Has anyone had any luck in this situation Link to comment
Randy W
A K-2 would work, although the timing would be tight for the summer (he'd have to get the visa before the 1 yr anniversary of your wife's, and then use it within 6 months of that). The USCIS is very fond of reminding us that it is only a "temporary" visa. A CR-2 would take longer, but then give you much more flexibility. But I'm not sure about using an immigrant visa when the intent is to NOT immigrate. A visitor's visa should also work - Doug (SheLikesMe?) did this for his daughter before her CR-2 visa was issued.
