You must report all changes in income, and any time you leave the US for more than 30 days, etc., etc., etc., in addition to the immigration status. You won't be drawing benefits for a few years yet. That only time anyone has looked at my card since I got it was just a few years ago - and that was because I had given the DPS the wrong number back in 1966 (I had memorized it off by one digit) - they finally caught up with me about 3 years ago. Sorry, but that link is for f your work eligibility has changed or if have become a U.S. citizen - basically, if you'reNOT presently work authorized - and mailing the needed documents seems to be a worse choice then waiting in line.
