whutthapho
10 years ago i would have argued my butt off and made a complete fool of myself, now i just let it go when something like this comes up. eating a banana backwards from the wrong end, cold and warm water drinking, not to mention what a field day i would have had with the entire feng shui thing. I'm kinda the same way at this life-stage...I won't try to convert anyone to my point of view but I also will make it clear that I disagree...and leave it at that. Link to comment

warpedbored
Real issue is if Bing will have braggin' rights for her red potatos at the end of the summer...... (and no, I won't go head to head---didn't plant potatos....)The potato plants are about 4 feet high. Today she noticed that some of them have a tomato like fruit on them. I looked it up on the Internet and while it is unusual it does happen. too soon to tell how many potatoes we will have but the woman has a green thumb. The snow peas are about 7 feet high and we have bunches of pea pods. Hot peppers, bell peppers are either blooming or have fruit. 3 different kinds of tomatoes. I'm afraid to see my next water bill. SirLancelot
Why green potatoes cannot be eaten?http://www.indepthinfo.com/potato/safety.shtml Light will cause the formation of solanine on the skin of the potato. Though not likely to cause serious harm, green skinned potatoes can taste bitter and may result in temporary digestive discomfort. When confronted by green skin on a potato, simply peel it away. Keep as much of the rest of the skin as possible. For this is where most of the vitamins reside. I wasn't aware of this. Wife said something akin to this to me before but I thought she didn't know what she was talking about. Kind of scary stuff. Link to comment
Jeikun
The vast soy conspiracy is even scarier. Look in your refridgerator and cabinets and try to find 3 processed foods that do not contain soy. Bread? Soy. Mayo? Soy. Doritos? Soy. Peanut butter? Soy. Almost everything has soy in it. Oh, but soy is healthy right? hahahahahaha..... we shall see... Soy... it's the asbestos of the future. Link to comment
