How to do the AOS?

Hi there,

 

My MM will meet me at LA California at April-30. She has a k-1 visa.

 

I would like to know what I should do after she comes. How can we OFFICALLY get married? What's document I need for the AOS and where can I have those documents?

Seriously, the MOST common mistake I found out reading posts and newsgroup, to have your AOS rejected , is filing in the WRONG place / office.

My tip now:

Call ALL three of BCIS Service Center, District office and satellite office, if any ( i.e "local office" ). Go by what the majority says,,, No kidding.

Don't assume anything.

Some office take walks-in, some do not.. Some take all forms 485, 131 and 765 some just a few.. etc.. etc..

And do not trust BCIS website. Just call'em all unless you enjoy waiting and sweating to see if your application has been accepted.
