AlexG
Hi everyone, new member here. I am in the process of completing I-134(s) and have a few questions. My parents will be helping me by co-sponsoring since I have been working in China for the past 3 years. 1. If my parents file their taxes jointly, do they file 1 form or 2? The I-134 says "I" not "We". 2. If just one of their incomes is enough for the requirements do both have to file since both names are on the tax form?3. In Q3 for "Relationship to Sponsor", what have people put down previously? I just read the long and confusing discussion in this thread: http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=19085 So should my parents write "Future Daughter In-Law"? Thanks a bunch, Alex Link to comment
david_dawei
1. Just one form... supply tax returns with proof of each's income (w2, 1099) or whatever establishes the individual number you use. 2. No, only one has to file 3. I would put "Petitioner's Father (or mother) Link to comment
