Guest pushbrk
I was told that interviewee would get the visa at the same day in Guangzhou Consulate if passed. Isn't it?233442[/snapback]No. There are two options. If the applicant is approved and lives in Guangdong Province the Visa package can be sent by EMS to their home address. They'll receive it in 3 to 5 days approximately, sometimes sooner. Otherwise the applicant pays a delivery fee and picks the visa up at the post office near the Consulate two days after the interview. The applicant is informed of the decision the same day. They do not receive the visa the same day. Rarely the visa is held up and not delivered, even after receiving the red/pink slip indicating approval. Link to comment
david_dawei
To add to mike's comments.. - if your denied, you then make an appointment to submit overcome at a collection window. - even rarer (but not unheard of), is to receive approval of the visa, and then prior to pickup (or at pickup) get a denial notice. The best plans are ones that have some room for the various situations that could arise... hope for the best, but plan realistically... Link to comment
