SSN

Social security card arrived May 12th one month after arriving at LAX POE. However we went to the social security office May 7th and they had nothing on file from the DS230 part 2 in which we requested a SSN be assigned. The clerk at the social security office said that this was normal as it is supposed to be submitted to them by immigration at POE but it seems to get lost somewhere in the system.

Anyway she entered the information and one week later we have the card.
