To those of you with experience in the process, does this page give an accurate representation of what documention is needed to complete the alien fiance' visa process? The page was created in Feb. 2002. Is this information still correct? Has the process changed dramatically to where this is obsolete?

If this is not accurate any longer could someone compile a comparable checklist list that we could post on this site?

Cursory glance shows it to look pretty good, though I've not examined in detail. Some of the language might be confusing however as the author seems to be leaning toward to overkill column.

I know that this link is in the CFL Visa FAQ..

 

As far as a checklist goes, it does a decent job of covering the entire process... it's not "GUZ" specific, so the timing of some issues would differ.

 

I would change/edit/delete a few things..

Towards the bottom of section 4 there are 4 types of forms listed.

 

DS-2301

DS-156

DS-156K

DS-157

 

I cannot find these on the USCIS web site. Are these obsolete forms? This web page was created in 2002 so it is possible that the government stream lined the process by eliminating so of the paperwork right?

These are DOS forms.. not USCIS forms..
