I now get emails from a company that make the following cliam on the their web site.

The K-1 Fiancée visa is for those engaged to U.S. Citizens and planning to wed

their fiancée within 90 days of their arrival in the states. The process is this:

The citizen of the U.S. file's the petition to the USCIS Service Center for a K1 fiancée visa approval.

The approval is forwarded to the U.S. Consulate where the foreign

fiancée lives.

The foreign fiancée gathers their support documents, attends a medical

examination and embassy interview.

The foreign Fiancee receives the K1 fiancée visa, travels to the U.S.and

marries the US citizen petitioner,.

Total time estimate: 90-120 days. This is the fastest method.

Are they doing something special or is this just a come on to get your money and then blame the USCIS for them not being able to meet the timeline?

Over at VJ, you should see some of the time lines there. Other countries it's a piece of cake.

Yup. K1 visas are issued to citizens of many countries, much more quickly than to the Chinese. The email you quoted doesn't mention China.

A "come-on" doesn't even begin to describe the email you received. Mike is right. They don't mention specific countries, and thereby avoid boxing themselves into a corner with their claim. We can only wish to receive the same treatment as those from other countries. The inequities are outrageous.
