Problem with GUZ Fax #...

Has anyone had a problem in dialing GUZ fax number: 8620-3884-4412???

 

Or is it because I'm living in China and I have to dial it differently. I've tried to dial (8620) no luck. Tried with out the 86. Doesn't work. After looking up the area code for Guangzhou (020) It finally worked.

 

Outside of China: 8620-3884-4412

Inside of China: 020-3884-4412

 

So, if anyone is currently in China and wanted to fax, you can't use the exact number that is provided on the GUZ Consulate web site.

86 is the country code (not needed inside China).

 

20 is the city code (needed).

 

Always dial 0 before the city code (just like 1 here in the states).
