Approved I-765

We traveled 360 miles last week for fingerprinting.

Upon returning we received an e-mail stating our I-765, Application for Employment Authorization was approved.

Just what does that mean?

We just received notice of our AOS interview is scheduled for March 6, 2006.

Will my laopo get a work permit card? Or do we wait for the interview?

Question: From your recent ASC appointment, did your wife get 1) the pic and print for EAD, 2) the pic and ten-print for AOS or, 3) both?

 

It should be noted on either or both appointment letters.

There are two stamps on the ASC notice and reads as follows:

 

Biometrics Processing Stamp

ASC Site Code: XAA

Biometrics QA Review By:

XXXX on Jan 19 2006

Ten Prints QA Review By:

XXXX on Jan 19 2006.

 

Not sure what this means.

I suppose she will still receive the EAD, since it is already aproved. It will become irrelevant assuming her I-485 is approved following the interview. Once she receives the green card (or gets the passport stamp) it serves as the work permit.
