Stuart
Hi All,Insufficient income but have a job offer letter-- is this enough to act as the sole sponsor? The income indicated in the letter is sufficient to exceed 125% of the poverty line.Other details: The job starts in August and is based in Hong Kong. Any advice? Stuart175665[/snapback]A job offer is a tough sell if the U.S. petitioner is unable to provide evidence of enough income or financial resources to support the spouse or fiancée/fiancé. If you have other assets or parents to co-sponsor I would go that route . See below website under the question: Can a credible offer of employment for the visa applicant replace or supplement an insufficient cient Affidavit of Support? http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_1328.html Link to comment
