raineedaze
My wife and I have waited 7 months for our I-129 approval. I called them today and they will start working on it in about a week. They are working on October 4 applications and ours was received on October 12, 2004. I guess it takes 7 1/2 months now to approve these in Chicago. wow Assuming that we get our approval in a week or so. What should we do to get ready for the P3 package??? Is there something that I should send to her to speed that up? Is there something that she shoud be doing ahead of time? I also filed the I-130 that was approved back in December but never made it to NVC. Link to comment

lynne
It took us 9 months for our I-129 to be approved. Once your case is approved do what we didn't and get the date it is sent from NVC to GZ and track it until you know it is in the computer and when you might expect your P3. Mail sent from GZ seems to get lost or sent to the wrong address far too often. Link to comment
raineedaze
Thank you, that seems like good advice. I will certainly follow the trail to GZ. Link to comment
