[Our CCP wait time - 88 days]

We're getting close to two months now –– thanks to CFL, I wasn't that surprised that processing wasn't completed in one month, but wasn't able to prevent my poor wife from being disappointed. Looking forward to the three months-ish resolution. I'll email the consulate on the two-month "anniversary", then I'll get in touch with my senator a week or so later. That'll take us to close to three months, anyway.

I'm sry that you and your wife are going through this. I'm concerned about it as well. I was once a probationary one in college, but i gave up the opportunity to become an official one, a real one 1 year later, for which the CCP should have kicked me out according to their constitution. My probationary one is supposed to be ended 2 years ago already, but still I'm concerned that this might give me a blue slip just becoz i was once a probationary one becoz of my academic excellence. Praying for no Blue Slip!!!

I became a probationary member of it in College becoz of my academic excellence, but never became an official one for the past 3 years since I didnt request to nor did i fulfill the duties. Actually i cant even find it now, but ppl told me i might still be on their party member list somewhere.

 

Now im confused about what to say if im asked this question.

Can I just say :"No, I'm not."?

If you signed any documents to become a probationary member. I would probably say yes and explain the circumstances. No sense trying to hide this and later getting possibly caught and questioned about it at other stages of immigration.

You are right. I dont want that either, but I dont think i am, lol. Ofc, if they ask me whether i joined, then i will say yes , i was a probationary one 3 years ago. Thanks for your quick response.

i heard about this too, but can you tell me whether this only applies to following new cases or also cases in process aready?

Since i have got my P3 and mailed (including DS-230) back to the embassy about 15 days ago, do i need to bring a DS 260 to my interview?
