  1. My green card interview is in July.  Is there any advice?   thanks!

We just had ours on the 28 of last month. We took quit a lot of things with us to show that we are getting along and this and that. We took pictures, bills with Jennifers name on it, our marriage papers and a statement from our bank that she has a savings account.

These are things that we should have taken:

Letters from friends that tell about our marraige and if they think it is working or not.

A letter form the place where I work at that says that she is on my Life Insurance policy.

A statement from Delta showing the Sky Miles that I have from the 3 times that I have been to China.

The lady told us that the letters from friends have to be notarized. I am not really sure why they want the statement from Delta, I have never heard of them wanting that before. We had the ticket stubs and boarding passes, but they still wanted that.

The interview itself was really easy, no problems at all.

    Good luck to you, :D

Thank you. You got your green card on 28, right?

  2. 1) I filled out I-131 form and filled for an advance parole.

    2) I filed at a CIS cervice center to adjust my status as a permanent resident.

Now I don't know where to mail my I-131 form.

    California service center,P.O.box 10130, Laguna Niguel,CA,92607

Or 300 N. Los Angeles street, LA, CA. 90012 ?

  3. 1) Welcom!

2)How long will it take, normally for my fiance to get pkt#3?

In my case, it took about 5 weeks. The time may be different from

different cases. Generally speaking, it take about 4-8 weeks.

3)They say they could schedule an interview with the Consulate before

they even get their petition sent to US Consulate in Phillipines.

I don't think that can be applied to Chinese.

4)how long would I need to wait for my fiance to get to U.S. from today?

It depends on so many things. Even your fiance/fiancee's name matters.

Usually, it takes about 4-6 months from p3 to p4 and 3 weeks from p4 to

    the interview.

    5) Good luck and be patient.

  4. My MM got her P-4 (for her k-1 application). She told me that there was a "Family Composite Sheet", which needs my family's info and my signature. I want to know:

Is my signature really needed? I remember that when I turned in my application for her k-1, there was a sheet required her signature, but I was told that it was not necessary after I called INS.

If you had similar experience, please let me know.

    Thanks.
