  1. It's a ling and painful process. Thanks to everyone from CFL, great people. They kept a lot of documents, which included all of my financial documents. I have not have a chance to go through my folder to find what's missing. We are waiting at the hospital for the vaccination.

  2. my fianc¨¦e got out of the interview room at 10:30 with the pink slip. She called me when I was the hotel. Three questions were asked and it was done my a young tall white man. Yeah!!!!

  3.

Is that means we just walk into one of those branches with the K4 package and pay the fee there? Just not really sure how this can be done...

Simply walk into the branch down the road from the consulate with passport, in hand and pay the $131 fee or the equivalent in RMB, they will give you a receipt for the payment.

What's the address for this paticular branch?

  4. Thanks a lot guys!

I noticed the receipt for visa fee is required when getting the medical exam done. My fiancee called the Citic Bank, said they don't have this type of service. How exactly to pay this fee? Does she need to pay it in person? Who is the payee? Help please!

  5. Hello LiangJai, your P-4 should come 4 to 6 weeks after they receive your P-3. Your appointment date should be available from DOS 7 to 10 days before you receive the P-4(202-663-1225-1-0). You should start calling 4/20. Good Luck, Mike & Yizhen

Hello okie2, your approved petition was sent to the NVC, you should be able to ask them for the GUZ #(603-334-0700) speak to an operator. It will be sent to GUZ quickly, then you will wait 2 to 4 months for the case to be entered/received by GUZ. You can start calling DOS at about 2 months (202-663-1225-1-0). You should find out about your P-3 before it is received, you can return the P-3 docs as soon as it is in the system, before you actually receive it. You will need to prepare all the Original Documents need for the Interview. Then follow the info above for the P-4 and the DOS (Department of State). Good Luck, Mike & Yizhen

I called DOS yesterday morning, was told the interview is set for May 19th at 7:15am, and called again in the afternoon to confirm just to ease my fiancee's mind. She is still waiting for the P4, but, China here I come!!!! yeah!!!

  6. Hi all~

Regards the proof of on-going relationship, the phone bill is one of the recommeded. There is a question that I have, how do the VO knows that the phone number on the bill is belong to your partner? We have been chatting on-line, use phone cards (there is no records of phone numbers) most of the time we communicate. I can show them the cell phone bills for text messages to her, but she changed her number a couple times in the past two years. Will this matter? Or as long as it shows a phone number that is from China?

  7. If USCIS is not helpful concerning status of #1... call NVC with the GUZ# and see what they say. Can even email GUZ to ask too..but they are often not as responsive unless you give enough pertinent info to prove the case you inquire about, you are a part of... well but no longer...

I think I am safe with it now since it's more than a year ago and I mailed a notarized letter two months ago, and I do have another notarized withdraw letter if the VO wants to see it. I would say if they hady problem with it, the current case will not be approved due to the fact that I explained the reason for giving up the first petition on the current I129F form.

  8. [Well, the case number 1 was approved in 2007 and P3 was received around Nov of 07. #2 was sent to USCIS in March of 08, and received P3 last month. I think I'll call DOS tomorrow and find out what the situation is with #1..

The ex was from Taishan, now the fiancee is from northern China..

Thanks a lot to all of you!

  9. Also, I've petitioned someone else in the past, and did not send a letter to GZ until two months ago. Will this effect my current petition?

    Thanks in advance!

Perhaps you can help clarify what you mean by this statement? It seems you're saying that you previously went through the visa process with another person, and actually filed paperwork? Was this also a K1? What was the outcome? Was your partner approved? What sort of letter did you send to GZ two months ago? The short answer to your question, before you provide additional information, is YES. Previous filings can indeed affect other petitions....

    Sorry for the confusion.

Yes, I filed a K1 for my ex. I heard that she did received the P3, but that was after we seperated. I mailed a notarized withdraw letter to GZ two months ago. I included an explaination to USCIS when I filed the current K1.

  10. Hi all!

I filed K1 last year, now just mailed the P3 back to GZ. Just wanted to know if I should include the Western Union receipts I sent to my fiancee in the past as part of the evidence to proof our relationship. I've heard bad things about doing this, this may make the VO thinks I am buying a wife. All I wanted to submit this during the interview is to prove that I am supporting her financially, in this case she won't become a public charge when she comes over. Any suggestions?

Also, I've petitioned someone else in the past, and did not send a letter to GZ until two months ago. Will this effect my current petition?

    Thanks in advance!
