    I think there is no Problem!

    BTW. After I pass my interview. How long time I can get my Green Card?

    It was 4 weeks before we got our welcome letter and 6 weeks before my wifes green card arrived after we did our interview in Kansas City.

     

    This was really strange since the green card is mailed from Lee's Summit, about a 30 minute drive from the KC district office. :)

     

     

    Wow, your mean the welcome letter and green card will mail from Lee's Summit? That is not far from Independence.

    Since you are K-1 you can get your SSN any time now. Take a certified copy of your marriage licence, your passport with visa and I-94 inside and an envelope with postmark on it that has been delivered to you in your name. Go to the SSA office and fill out the form. If you are changing your last name to your husbands name now is the time to do it. fill out the form in your married name. Sometimes SSA office workers don't really understand the law and will try to tell you you must have a green card or EAD. They are wrong. Go to this link and print out this page http://ssa-custhelp.ssa.gov/cgi-bin/ssa.cf...php?p_faqid=576 if after showing this to them they still won't give you a SSN then go to a different office and try again.

     

    As far as how long it takes to get a green card it varies a little from where you live. My best guess is about 4 months.

     

    How can I change my last name to my husbands name? What i should do ?

    And Can We move to anther place now? I mean my husband and I want to buy a house now. But we do not know if we need wait until I get my green card...What time is good for buy a house? After get green card or before?

    The questions that VO ask me:

     

    VO:How to you know your fiance?

    VO:Did he met you in person?

    VO:He just came to see you one time?

    VO:Why you desicde go to US?(I think this question a little .. B) .)

    VO:Your english is very good. Where did you learn that?

    VO:OK,Can I see your finace's tax return?

    VO:Okay, Congratulations! You visa is approved!

    Hi everyone, I will go to GZ on 31 Aug..

    I just want ask that my fiance sent me I-864 form... Is that a problem on the interview?? Because i know its should be I-134 form for K1..

    You will need the I-134. The I-864 is not needed until adjustment of status.

    There is enough time if he sends it to your hotel in Guangzhou via DHL's fastest service. The I-864 is not to be substituted for the I-864. Perhaps somebody has managed to get approved by offering I-864 when I-134 has been asked for. Often neither is actually asked for. In those cases, it wouldn't have mattered which was available or if neither was.

     

    I would rather pay DHL than take the risk.
