    Correct me if i'm wrong.

I checked again at the forms sent out from GUZ:

    a. we need to sign on DS-156,

    b. don't sign on DS-156K,

    c. there is no place for signature in DS-157.

BTW, the line item 12 (last two employers) in the Chinese version of DS-157 sent out from GUZ is slightly different from the sample one from Links & Resources.

  2. I did some more research at 001, here is what I have found: if you do medical exam in SH, you can pay the visa fee either in SH or in GZ before the interview; this is stated on the paper they gave you after the exam. I then searched the Citic Industrial Banks website in SH, and found there are two SH branches that accept US visa (non immigrant)applicaton fee (RMB 830):

    1. 61 Nanjing Road East, Tel: 63501216

    2. 1335 Huaihai Road Middle, Tel: 64318545

Hope this clears up the confusion for people doing exam in SH.

  3. Based on GZ's website Medical Examination Instructions, do we need to bring all the document listed on OF-171 to the medical exam? Specifically among them, the very last item is "Family Composition Form and 230 II Form". Is it still valid or just outdated? I thought, at least for K1s, we are done with DS-230 after sending back the Part I in P3?

I know the doctor will fill out all the medical forms in P4, but the applicant usually is asked to fill out the personal info part on the top portion on the forms. My question is, to use English or Chinese for the personal info? because all the medical forms are in both English and Chinese.

    Thanks for your help.

  4. Could anyone tell me what actual size of all the forms in P3 package:

    1. Downloadable version of DS-230 from DOS is size "Letter", is it the same as the one in GUZ's P3?

    2. P3 Supplement, size A4 or Letter?

    3. OF-169, size A4 or Letter?

Both P3 Supplement and OF-169 floating around I believe are only scanned version, so they are not in original form size?

  5. There were shipments from NVC to GUZ on both 7/21 and 7/22. I seem to remember one post said the actual ship date from DHL usually is one or two days after the ship date given out by NVC. So if 7/21 was the ship date claimed by NVC, yours could be in the 7/22 batch which had already cleared and received by the Consulate, while 7/21 is still under clearance delay, another mystery....

  6. Thank you all for the input. But I am still not sure what to put on line 19.

Just to clarify my question, line 19 of I-129F is:

Your fiance(e) will apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate in: City, Country

goneflying, you're right, I'm in the US, my fiancee is in Shanghai. However, based on the I-129F example form at visajourney, it does list a consulate on line 19. May I ask from whom were you told to put N/A on line 19?

    Thank you once again.

  7. I am a U.S. Citizen by naturalization, so I HAD an "A number" before.

Now I am applying K-1 for my fiancee. I know for my fiancee's G-325A, I shall put NONE for the upper right corner where it asks for "File number" and for the bottom box outlined by heavy border where it asks for "Alien registration number"; but on G-325A for myself, shall I put my old "A number" in both places? Or shall I put NONE too?

    Thank you for your help.
