  1. Better would be that you book the flights for you getting to GUZ and back from GUZ to your home city in the states, and then have your SO book the rest of the way for you from GUZ to NNG and then back to GUZ. Have your SO book all of her one-way flight to your home town with a Chinese travel agent to match your flights from NNG to your home city.

  2. There were only three questions and then she asked to see my tax return.

    1. How did you know your Fiance?

Answer: On the Internet last October.

    2. What does he do?

Answer: He works in Southern California Edison Company as an Telecommunications Technician.

    3. How many times has he been to China?

    Answer: Four times.

For the question "What does he do", there was some misunderstanding and so some Chinese was exchanged.

Update: My SO did answer the second question correctly. :D

  3. Sorry that I haven't responded after my intitial post. I forgot that I posted in this forum, and today is the first I saw and read other's posts. I'm slow at typing up posts, and don't get enough sleep as it is, or I would post a lot if I didn't work.

When I said in general about the Chinese people, I should have said in general about their culture, but the people determine how the culture will be, but the people are the way there are because it worked in general for them in the past. But if China didn't change their ways in the last 100 years, and more so in the last 20, then they would be more like they were a thousand years ago, and maybe not exist as a nation or people if they didn't change along with the rest of the world to survive.

Also, I'm together with my SO not because she's Chinese, but who SHE is. In general I dislike America because it (the government) kills and terrorize people, but that doesn't mean I dislike all the actions of each individaul American. I wonder why I have to explain some things ("spell things out") to some people. Though I know my posts aren't that great.

Right or wrong, and this is what people in general seem to want, that the world is moving toward doing things more "orderly", and that the smartest will survive better than the strongest in the future. I think doing things more orderly creates less waste in general, and pollution, which increases quality of life. And societies are based on orderly events.

  4. Congratulations again!!!

Thank you again for the good P3 /P4 letter dates.

I take what you are saying to mean that your I-129f was clear?

    Something new at last.

I went through a service called VisaPro. And they asked that all the forms be filled out before submitting anything. But VisaPro erred and forgot to send the forms to my SO, so that costed us about 15 days.

  5. I own and use something that allows you to squat and sit at the same time. You sit and then put your feet on a stool that has two places for your feet; it straddles the USA sitting type of toilet and I pull it out when I need to do a bowel movement. It helps and takes less effort, and is more natual.

  6. I look at two or three sites, pick the two cheapest airlines, and then if I can I go directly to that airlines web site to see if they have a special on that flight. I did that with Northwest and saved $105. If am in no hurry and a good price is not available, then I'll search again every two days. If I can get a good price I'll get my tickets 1.5 to 2.0 months in advance. I like Yahoo Travel most, for many reasons. If you get a flight that uses an overseas carrier then you may have to pay about $15 more for the tickets to be mailed to you. Overseas carriers cost more on average, but are better on average. I'll pay $50 more for an overseas carrier. I fly out of LAX to GUZ, and have paid from $726 - $895.

  7. My senators have already expressed an interest in my case and to contact them if I have problem. I also call the Customer Service Center (800-375-5283) and NVC (603-334-0700) about 60 minutes everyday asking them to explain all the problems they are having. I also email NVC about five times each week. I also FAX them some of the time. In 36 hours I am going to ask my lawyer and senators to take action against the NVC for not completing and forwarding my petition overseas within the four week time period after I received my I-797, Notice of Action form.
