    First of all I would like to take this opportunity to say "thanks" for all

    helps, support and information I got from people on this site.

     

    My fiancee arrived in Dallas yesterday with me. From her interview up to

    now, everything went so smoothly. She was interviewed on Dec 9 and

    got the visa the very second day. She was a bit nervous (she was too nervous to submit my passport) as she was interviewed by one of

    tough VOs (the black pearl). However the interview went pretty smoothly.

    She was asked the following questions in Chinese:

     

    1. How did u2 know each other?

    2. How long have u known each other?

    3. Where does he work?

    4. What does he do?

    5. How many times did he marry?

    6. Does he have any children?

    7. How old is his son?

    8. How many times did he come back?

     

    She was not asked for anything I prepared including phone bills, I-134 with bank letter/employment letter/w2/tax returns, or photos, though she offered photos.

     

    When we arrived at SF yesterday, the immigrant officer went through

    her visa package and did question why we didn't have a copy of I-134,

    then he asked when we are going to get married and where.

     

    Only problem we encountered at SF was with (dry) spices in our suitcase.

    Some of them (MaJiao) got threw away.

     

    Once again thank u all for everything. We will continue to visit this site

    on a regular base to offer whatever we can.

    Yesterday I got a mail with GZ visa unit stamp on it plus DOS address stamp.

     

    I was a bit surprised since we already got our interview date days ago.

     

    I opened up and it turned out to be the response to my fax query

    dated back on Oct 25. It informs me that "...due to high volume...,

    you will be notified .... and so on."

     

    It seems the orignal response went to DOS in Washington all the way

    from GZ, then routed to me. Somehow they don't like the better route;

    my email or my MM's email.

    [sure I have a direct number to DOS.  However, I think that MANY OF US HERE would love the direct number to GZ.  Can we trade???

     

    DOS visa specialist hotline: 202.663.1225 then type 1,0

     

    So, what is the number for GZ?

    You can find GZ number on their website, however it's useless. The Chinese operator wouldn''t put u through. If u ask connected to visa center, they will connect u to the Visa Center in Shanghai, which

    doesn't know anything about k1/k3 and so on. So GZ is pretty much

    hopeless if u try to contact them by phone.

    DOS probably wouldn't give u an answer either. Most time they simply

    read whatever on their screens, and they are even worse on the dates.

    On the day before I got my fiancee's interview date, I called them,

    they told me the same story that it's probably in 2-3 months to get P4.

    Then the second day, I called again, I was told we got a date.

     

    So, my experience are

    1. wait paitently and don't get too frustrated by GZ or DOS.

    2. call DOS weekly, or if u see someone around your p3 gets p4, call

    DOS to check ur luck.

    Here are more info from the lady's post:

     

    Questions were asked:

     

    1. what's ur fiance's address?

    2. what's ur fiance's phone number?

    3. why do u want to go US to get married?

    4. How many times did ur fiance come back?

     

    After that the letters were asked. After looking them, Pearl lady said

    she couldn't trust interviewee because the letters are separate from the envlopes (the lady has intentionly put all the letters together and stapled them)

     

    Then the bluelslip!
