visiting China in the spring

We want to go back to Wuhan to visit wife's family for spring festival. I read that China is now accepting vaccinations from the big three companies. But also said visa's are limited. Anyone having any luck getting a visa and getting approved to travel there without having to do a 14 day lockdown?
