Paying our CR-1 fee

If anyone like me is wondering where/how to pay their CR-1 fee, I had this answer from GZ:

 

"Your huaband can pay the fee directly at the consulate when he has his

interview?"

 

The question mark worries me a bit... Anyway, this prob doesn't apply to many people, maybe Bob and others in China not going the K route.

As you walk into the interview waiting area, there are 2 or 3 small windows on the wall on the left hand side. Space is real cramped in that part of the room if I remember, I think there's a wall separating that area from the rest of the room. Been there a few times to pay various fees in the past.

 

Whole room reminds me of a jury duty waiting room.
