James
OK, I'm doing I-130, CR-1 .... case is currently at the NVC. Awaiting DS-230. I was under the impression that all we would need to return with the DS-230 was a copy of the passport bio pages, and the form GIV3. But somebody posted this at visajourney.com Is it right? "Wait for the DS-230 package to arrive but in the meantime have your wife download and fill out the online DS-230. Make sure she signs only Part 1 and make sure you submit both part 1 and part 2. She will need her police clearances, certified copies of birth certificate, marriage certificate, divorce certificate (if applicable) and copy of bio page of her passport. You will need to submit a certified copy of your birth certificate and you will need a copy of your bio page of your passpport. You can get all this while youre waiting for the package to arrive. The package contains a cover sheet with a barcode on it that they use to help process your case. If any children of hers is coming....submit docs as well." Link to comment
goneflying2000
It is my understanding that all that is required is DS230 part 1 signed by your spouse. A copy of the bio page in her passport. And a GZ P3 supplement filled out in Chinese. Link to comment
perryf
The posting on Visa journey might be for another consulate. For China you only need what you originally thought. The rest of the forms are required in P4. PF Link to comment
