BobandNicole
Nosing around some of the documentation, way buried in there in small print it mentions somethign about having the last 3 years tax returns noratized??? Doing I-864 and wife will be submitting the affidavit and supporting last 3 years tax returns and last 3 months payroll deposit advice. These are copies of the file copies my tax preparer gave me, including all schedules, W-2's, etc, about 20 pages worth per year. Does this have to be notarized as well? Or just the affidavit of support, which I've already had notorized at the consulate. ThanksBob Link to comment
warpedbored
First I have heard of it. We submitted copies of transcripts and W-2s and took the original transcripts and W-2s with us to the interview. The only thing the Immigration officer wanted to see was my letter of employment and evidence of a joint household ie utility bills in both names, joint bank account statements etc. This was for AOS though not a DCF. I presume it is the same requirements. Link to comment
beijingjenny
The I-864 instructions just say to include copies of tax returns, didn't say notarized that I could find. Mine and my parents' are not notarized. Link to comment
mlspyl
Bob: My I-864 review (AOS info) has just been successfully completed at the NVC. I only had the I-864 document itself notarized. Mark Link to comment
