Mild_Bill
I was just wondering about this. I completely didnt notice that the Superbowl is going to be during my planned trip to China. I admit that even though I am an avid football fan, it was very far from my mind at the time I was planning to go see my wife. My question is does anyone, those of you who lived/live there, know if they will be showing the game on Chinese TV? If they dont, its not a biggie, but Im just curious. Thanks Link to comment

BuffaloPaul
Good question. I made the same mistake and will be in China Feb 6. Good, er bad, thing that the Bills are not going to be in the game. Thanks for the info. Link to comment
cosmiclobster
I was in China last year during the superbowl and they did show it. It was pretty nice in that as soon as the whistle blew for the end of the down, they cut out all of the dead time and a few seconds later they hiked the ball for the next down. The whole game took less than 1.5 hours. Link to comment
PJ
I'll be darned ... I missed the 2001 superbowl (I think the year the Patriots won). because I was in China. That's pretty cool. Link to comment

ghostrider
I wonder if they'll show the Super Bowl on airplanes? Because I'll be flying to China when the game will be played. Actually, I don't care about the game too much because the 49ers won't be playing. And probably not for many years to come, either. Oh, well. Link to comment
vibes1313
Hi All,First time poster here from Dallas. I've been staying in Shenzhen since August. We sent our P3 the first part of December. But back to football. In SZ the regular cable channel will show the game, but at 11:30am they will change to soccer or arobics. I subscribed to Topway digital that broadcasts Now Broadband from HKG. ESPN (pacific rim) will show the AFC Championship at 7:30 Monday morning (complete on digital, and in English), but no NFC which would start at 4:00am Monday. I feel sure they will broadcast the Superbowl Live on ESPN in the morning, and then a shortened live version later on CCTV (any Janet J. mishaps will surely be clipped . Link to comment
