Kaige
I am playing my old mind but I think I read there are some advantages to this going through the process as it may be faster in the processing as the name checking and a few others, but ask someone at the top in the military office to be sure. alaskagypsy
There was an announcement last month, stating procedures have changed for military, giving them special "quick" procedures to get their spouse to the USA. I did print it out and when I find it will post it. Link to comment

ed and ying
There was a article in the NY Times not long ago. It was about folks in the military are supposed to get a quick ticket to green card, but it was it working. The article focused on a many from Russia. When our Gov got wind of the story, he was processed real quickly. The articel went on to say the the quick track did not apply to this guys mother, how is also waiting for a green card. Interesting note - all these military cases to to Nebraska. Link to comment
