Hi All, Thank You all so much for this forum, it is the best resource I have found for relaying and getting information... I have another qtwo uestion of you all.. 1. How long does it take to obtain the Police Certificate? My Sweetheart has lived in the same city (Kunming) her entire life. They recently changed the rules on the photgraphs for the BCIS (formerly INS) in August 2004, they went to passport style photos. 2. Are the photos that are required by the embassy the old INS style or the new passport style. I think anyone who has recently had an interview will be able to answer this question fairly quickly. If you don't get it translated I think it's faster but you might as well cuz you'll need it later anyways. As for the pics- I get a monthly newsletter from UCISC and they made a note about the changed requirements so I would guess you need the new ones. Not sure about that though. Link to comment
