Off to China

I'll be leaving for Nanning on Aug 13th. Be there until Aug 22. Anyone else from here be hanging around there then?

 

I think Fanny's plan for us includes a day or 2 at the beach, but otherwise we'll be hanging out in Nanning.

Have a Blast PF You lucky dog!! Wish I was going with you. I just got back end of May and the weather wasn't to bad. I talk to my sweetie everyday and they have been having some cooler days, only in the 80's and some rain. so hopfully not to hot for you. Have fun

I am not sure on the beach you will hit but Sanya (Hainan Dao) was a dream compared to Beihai (silver beach)

I think Beihai is where we are off to. We can take a bus there. But would have to fly to Hainan Dao. And I'm hoping to do cheap this trip.

i went to Behai City last May. It was hot then but the water is warm. Across the street from the Beach is an outdoor resturant where you can pick the live food you want ot eat. DONT EAT THERE. I was lucky that I didn't get sick but right out back where the latrines are which are just huts with a hole in the concrete by the wall where the raw sewage runs outside. About 10 feet from there is where they wash the dishes in vats of soapy water and rinse them off with a hose.
