I have cleaned, cleaned some more, and even cleaned some more, But i still feel as if the house is not to her specifications. She has reassured me many times not to worry about it, but i still want it to be nice for her. To all of you still in the process..... All i can say is, Be patient, Your day will soon come! She will dust the coathangers etc. If you clean it 100%% she will think -a)you don't need her, - your gilfriend is a neat freak. Just get rid of the porno mags and cheetos bags. The rest will all be good. If she tells you your a slob, tell her that's one reason you married her--you need her. It worked for me.----but i do so miss my porno mags Link to comment

Patrick B)Patrick, 11 more days, here 14 days. I have cleaned, re-done closets and almost went and bought some new linens, but some wise person here told me not to do it. Patrick, Ling has told me the same as Li, not worry, but even so, I have my house cleaner coming on the day of her arrival so everything is done fresh and nice smelling. I can just imagine.No No No, you cannot even come close to imagining--not even close. As for new linens, that is the one thing that you should do. The Chinese woman HATES to have anything in the bedroom that is in anyway shape or form related to ones ex-wife. Make the bedroom new-including the bed-even if you have to ummmmm, strech the truth a bit. Trust me on this one---IT IS IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!! And be afraid, be very afraid!! Link to comment

You can entertain yourself for more than an hour with a fly swatter.You burn your yard rather than mow it. You think the Nutcracker is something you do off a high dive. The Salvation Army declines your mattress. You offer to give someone the shirt off your back they don't want it. You come back from the dump with more than you took.You keep a can of Raid on the kitchen table. Your grandmother has "Ammo" on her Christmas list. You think a subdivision is part of a math problem. When I met Bing at the POE in Seattle she was in customs and immigration for an hour and a half. I kept pacing the floor with all these nightmare scenarios going through my head. ie "what if there is something wrong with her papers and they send her back" All nonsense of course but still just the same........ When you see her face light up when she sees you it will be an emotionally overwhelming moment. I didn't want to let go of Bing for a second once I had her in my arms. Hmmmmm come to think of it I still don't but for other reasons heh heh heh. Link to comment
