I do want to be well informed of the whole process, and I still have a question concerning the sending of the case to GZ: once the NVC gives me a GZ# and the date the application was sent to GZ, how do i do about tracking the case with DHL? What information should I provide DHL to know the status and what's the site for DHL?

The web site for DHL is www.dhl.com

 

Now getting your tracking number or a number that might be the one your packet is in, I think you can get form DOS.

 

All I am doing is tracking the numbers Se Lang had on the dhl track on line page.

 

Maybe Se Lang would explain just how he came up with those numbers for you.

It is only a theory but seems to work, as for explaining it, that is harder then finding out the data myself, I am not sure how good of a job I did explaining it to hypo but if it was understandable he or I can post it.

I called the NVC today and already received a GZ number, so at least I know that the case had arrived to NVC and it's in the pipeline. When do a person call the DOS, when the case is already sent to GZ?

keep calling NVC once a week until they say it was sent to GZ then get the date it was sent and we can get you a tracking number or you can follow the instructions Don referenced. You call DoS after GZ has recieved it, which will be 3-6 weeks after NVC sends it.

as of today sat may 15th at 11:30 am in China the results are the same.

 

No new deliveries or clearances..

 

i am tracking this to try and at least get a rough estimate of the flow of deliveries. but this might not reflect to usual time line or maybe it will?

That was during the holiday wasn't it, I don't think anything was then. But if your packet left NVC on the 7th it won't get out of DHL warehouse for at least 2-4 weeks sorry it is just the way it works for us, It sucks!
