You may have seen the click-bait headlines, about how "China has banned Christmas", such as this one from the UK Express - China BOYCOTTS Christmas: Crackdown on Christians to save culture from ‘western opium’ But I can assure you that merchants (and governments) the world over have discovered that nothing says "Spend money" better than handing out Santa hats to your employees, stocking a few Christmas decorations, and playing Christmas music over the intercom. We took a stroll down to the riverside park tonight (Dec. 25) to see what was going on there. Link to comment
