Country Music Legend Passes. Mel Tillis at 85. The singer, songwriter, comedian and businessman, whose genuine warmth and down-home humor drew countless fans, was 85. I remember Mel Tillis from his Hee Haw and Glen Campbell Show guest appearances.

 

David Cassidy was of course on the Partridge Family with his mother Shirley Jones.

His father, actor Jack Cassidy was one of the best villains on the old Columbo Detective Series starring Peter Falk
