Securtiy check cleared

Hi All,

 

Well, my fiancee's security check cleared today.

 

Anyone know how long it usually takes to get P-3 from this point? I'd like to hear from recent recipients.

 

By the way, I'm posting a lot because I'm *supposed* to be working on a Content Management tool. I did the same thing in college when I was working on term papers, found ways to procrastinate.

It seems to be taking about 5 weeks from the time you clear NVC to P-3. Don't worry about getting the work done we like to have you post here lol.

Mine completed NVC Feb 27th. We are still waiting, see time line below

How are you finding out that the name clearance has been completed?

Actually it's on the front, NVC number is 603-334-0700. For K1 visas, press #1 (English), then #2 (fiancee visas).

 

They have long hours, like 8 AM - 8:30 PM M-F.

 

I've found the NVC to be surprisingly efficient, almost more like a corporation than a government organization.

Congratulations on the forward progress on your visa. Hopefully everything will be finished in a few months (maybe an interview mid-summer).
