Question about Physical health check in Guangzhou

Hi all,

 

I have a question about the Physical health check in Guangzhou. Due to I try to call the hospital several times to ask all of these question but I can't reach them. Just hope may be someone has experience and share to me. I appropriate to any of advise and suggestion.

 

1. What the document to bring with me to hospital. Only the photo?

2. How long of health check process? about 1 day is it correct?

3. How many day in average that I can pick it up?

4. Base on the result will be inside the envelop and not allow to open. How I know the result is ok. Will have some doctor talk with me about it?

5. If the result is not ok, I will know at that time or I will do not know until the interview process?

6. How long for the physical health check will good for? 6 months or 1 year?

1) Passport photos, Interview appointment page, any immunization records you may have.

2) Typically it can take a day or 2 to get the report back.

3) Typically the next day. Things have changed but in our case we were in a hurry (Interview the next day) so had to pay an expedite fee to get report the same day.

4) They will tell you. However it is very rare, the medical is looking for conditions that pose a serious medical hazard to people in the states, TB, and other contagious diseases.

5) The interview would result in Administrative Processing and you will be advised what to do.

6) 6 months.

I was just on the phone with the hospital in GZ as I'm also trying to find out whether I can get the results the next day (or same day). The lady categorically said that was impossible and the quickest I could receive the results was 4 working days. I told her others said they had received it the same day or next day, but she was adamant. Perhaps the policy has changed.

 

She also said that it's not possible to come without an appointment.

You must do as they say and send in two forms found here: http://www.gdwbzx.com/ywpd/usb/to the e-mail address listed. Send them back as .doc forms, not as PDFs. If, when you get there they don't have a record of these forms in their e-mail box, they won't let you do the medical until they do.
