Nathan&Min
I have an upcoming appointment that I can't make to file an I-130 for my wife. We are kind of last minute getting the marriage notarial certificates (and others for later) ready for the filing and we feel like we won't make the time this Thursday. I called the consulate in Guangzhou and they said we could file on a Friday during the public hours if we needed to. The reason I can't set an appointment is the next available appointment is the middle of May, and I will be on a business trip for more than a month in the USA starting May 11th. Does anyone have experience in filing an I-130 during public hours on Friday in GUZ? Thanks, Nathan Edited April 21, 2017 by Nathan&Min (see edit history) Link to comment

Thanks, Nathan I'm seeing appointments available under American Citizen Services for just about EVERY day in April and May. I don't think you'll go wrong once you are inside the Great Hall building. The third floor is where you submit the I-130, the cashier is on the second. Link to comment
dnoblett
Probably won't get a timely answer. https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-uscis-office/international-offices/china-uscis-guangzhou-field-office Public hours Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Walk-Ins USCIS Guangzhou accepts walk-ins during its public hours on Fridays. Customers are served on a first-come, first-served basis. It's a two hour window so I would be there very early to be in front of the line. You are using USCIS INFOPASS appointment site not US Travel Docs for appointment scheduling. https://my.uscis.gov/appointment You are dealing with the USCIS field office located in the consulate, not DOS. http://i949.photobucket.com/albums/ad334/dnoblett/IMG_1460_zpskcanwwdr.png Link to comment
