I have a question about DCF in Guangzhou. I have talked to the people that work at Guangzhou. They have told me my wife who is a Chinese citizen can come in the building with me when I file our I-130 form. I always thought a Chinese citizen could not come in the building until it's time for the interview. Thank you

You are dealing with a different department, DHS USCIS field office, different rules and less busy than DOS.

Same security, however. But yes, they are allowed inside for American Citizen Services.

 

You might make separate appointments for each of you, however. Then just show her appointment slip to get past the guards.

If there are visa applicants queued up outside the security shack, just go right to the front there. They'll let you in and go the the LEFT for American Citizen Services security
