background check question

Hi everyone,

I have a question here. When filling in my "Place of Birth" to go through the background check, should I give "China" or should I give specific place, "Changchun China"? thank you in advance. I really need help now.

Don't know which form you are on.

 

Looking at G-325A, it asks for "city and country of birth".

 

Since it is a background check, after all, I would help them do their job by giving province, city and country. Helps with the name check.

Greg, it's a background check for work. Nothing to do with immigration stuff. I agree with you that it will save time if we offer more details of our own information. Thanks!

I would go with city, province, country as place of birth, it's the same with an American only the country is assumed.

 

For example if they asked me where I was born it would state Rochester, New York because there are several Rochesters in the USA such as Rochester, Minnesota. And for example my sister in law would be Guilin, Guangxi, China
