I think you were talking about the new I-130 form? I had been using the old form from last year. On Part 4. 62. A. Thru 62.C do I put down Guangzhou Guangdong China? We will be going to Guangzhou the first of April. Thank you

Best to use the newest form.

02/27/17. Starting 04/28/17, USCIS will only accept the 02/27/17 edition. Until then, you can use the 12/23/16 edition. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the Form and Instructions.

It looks like the terminology is changed on the new form from "your relative" to "beneficary", along with the section changes.

So you would need to be more specific with your questions if you want to still use the old form.

But, yes, she will interview at the consulate in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China.

I-130 newest form page 8 Part 4 62.a. 62.b. 62.c. The beneficiary will not apply for adjustment of status in the United States, but he or she will apply for an immigrant visa abroad at the U.S. Embassy or U.S. Consulate in:

I think we should put down what you said Guangzhou Guangdong China

Thank you for everyone's help

That old form will work just fine, as long as you SUBMIT it before April 28, but you might compare it against the new one (if you haven't already) to see if anything substantial has changed - and consider just swapping over to it anyway.

Correct, Beneficiary of a CR-1 or IR-1 visa gets LPR status upon entry to the USA no Adjustment of Status involved.
