Picking up medical examination results

Hello once again community. My husband has his interview scheduled for Feb. 23. Now we can schedule the medical examination. Based on what I've read online, it seems everybody makes the examination and interview one trip. Is it possible to do the medical examination in Guangzhou, then return back to Guangzhou to pick up the exam results and do the interview? I read that the people who give the medical examination give a specific date and time to pick up the results? Seeing that the examination may be several days before the interview, couldn't he pick up the results during the medical place's open hours? This may be option because we live in Guiyang, which is about a 5 hr train ride from Guangzhou and we will be on vacation for Chinese New Year during this time. Thank you!

I can tell you my wife's experience with this. The scheduled medical exam was about a month before the interview. She also lived in Hunan, and it was a fairly long trip to Guangzhou.

She traveled to Guanzhou with my step-son for their medical exam, and stayed in Guangzhou for a couple of days until she could pick up the results. Then she returned home until it was time for the interview. That might be a good option for your husband.

Yes, they gave her a specific time to pick up the results. I believe that you can have them expedited for a fee, ( I think it is a day, but others can confirm) ,but usually they are available within 2 days anyway.

There are also medical centers located in other provinces.

 

Fujian, Beijing and Shanghai, if one of these locations is closer you may consider going there.
