danb
I just read that more stops have just been added to Line 1 in Nanning: I haven't had a chance to take a ride on the new Metro (subway) yet. I hope I get a chance to. I was told that the cost is 12 yuan. I have past a couple of the entrances to the metro On Minzu Da dao. The different stops were designated as A, B, and C. Last night we traveling on Minzu Da dao on a bus. What I did noticed was that the construction above ground was cleaned up. Traffic was much better on the section that we traveled. http://www.railjournal.com/index.php/metros/chinese-cities-open-new-metro-lines.html " A further 15 stations were also added to Nanning Line 1 with a 20.9km western extension of the east-west line from previous terminus Nanhu to Shibu, which takes the total length of the line to 32.1km." Randy W
So now it looks like we ought to be able to take the high speed train to Nanning, the subway to our little import store on Hangzhou street, and return to Yulin in a little over half the time it used to take to drive http://candleforlove.com/forums/topic/48451-new-sources-for-vital-expat-food-groups/?p=628637 Edited January 7, 2017 by Randy W (see edit history)
