Don't smoke on the elevator!

The trick there seems to be to simply NOT INHALE! Let your cigarette do the smoking - just hold it somewhere where the other passengers can't see it. Very irritating, but it may be a bit much to try to get someone to actually put it out.

A video circulates on Chines social media recently has triggered massive outrage. In the surveillance camera footage, a man was seen beating a woman repeatedly in an elevator, while the victim’s kid was right beside her, crying. The incident took place on October 12, 2016, in Langfang, central China’s Hebei province.
As the man fled, the woman called the police.
The woman, surnamed Li, told the police that she asked the man to stop smoking in the elevator for the sake of the child. The man then started thrashing her.
“Ever since I was born, I have never seen such savage and inhumane thug,” said Ms. Li.

Local police are still hunting the man.

My favorite was the guy who inhaled before getting on the elevator, hid his cigarette behind his back, walked on the elevator, and only THEN exhaled.

To make matters even worse, the poor kid gets left on the elevator alone. This whole episode had to be a major trauma for the child. And of course, for the mother as well.
